workoutI am going to have to amend my workout routine for the next week or so. The problem is that I had an accident yesterday. My step-grandson Dominic sprayed Fabreeze all over the laminate kitchen floor last night after one of the dogs passed gas. I slipped in it and banged my knee on a kitchen cabinet. It would have been hilarious if not for the fact that it really hurt and my knee is now badly bruised and very stiff. I am not going to be able to do a resistance workout on that leg until the bruising and swelling have gone down and I figure it is going to take a few days. I can still do a resistance workout for my abdomen and upper body. I also intend to do more swimming for the next week because it is a low impact exercise. Obviously I am not pleased that I cannot do my usual workout routine. However I am adaptable enough that I can cope with these temporary changes. I’ll do what I can to stay in shape while my knee is out of action.
