workout, fitness equipment Last night I hit the lanes for a bowling ball workout. Despite popular belief this sport does take a little more then hucking a 13 pound ball down a shinny lane into ten pins. It takes fineness, control, and a little bit of strength if your someone like me who can’t put any spin on the ball. I go for the hard, fast, straight down the middle approach. I consider the bowling ball a non-traditional form of fitness equipment.

There were teams competing in a league when I was there. There were all shapes and sizes of people playing. Bowling may not be the best workout especially when beer and greasy food is added into the equation but with all the cheering, high fives and frames played I consider it a workout. This morning I woke up and my right bicep and hand was a little sore. I love finding new ways to workout. It looks like hitting the lanes is just one new activity to sort of break a sweat. I can see how playing 4 plus games would really get the blood flowing. I do know I need more practice to compete though.
