Well I’m not a nutrition expert or anything like that but I can offer an opinion based on my own personal experiences and those of people I know. My father takes vitamins supplements every day but they have not helped him to lose weight. However my dad does not exercise because of a back injury and he tends to consume more calories than he burns off. This leads me to think that vitamins supplements won’t help with weight loss if a person can’t or won’t make some effort to shift the extra pounds.
My friend Hayley takes certain vitamins supplements and they did help her to lose weight but she also did a regular workout and went on a calorie controlled diet. Still she shifted more weight than she had on previous diets when she took these vitamins supplements.
Personally speaking I am not interested in weight loss. My goal is to maintain my current weight because it is healthy for a woman of my height and build. However I believe the vitamins supplements I take combined with my healthy diet and lifestyle have kept my weight steady, which is all I want.
