For the last few years I have planted a vegetable garden and each year it becomes larger. One thing I have noticed is tilling and preparing the ground each spring is a great workout and a chance to workout many muscle groups I have not used much during the long months of winter. I can certainly tell it too as after a few hours of running the tiller to prepare the ground for planting I am sore in spots I did not know I had. During the actual planting I get a another good workout and by this time i have noticed some weight lose plus I can feel my body becoming more limber. All the hard work pays off when the delicious vegetables such as tomatoes, green beans, squash and leaf lettuce are ready to harvest. Nothing beats fresh tomatoes from your garden chilled in the refrigerator, diced into bite size chunks and topped with chilled ranch dressing! Or fresh broccoli and baked squash topped with mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. All these tasty veggies and weight loss too. Now that is a plan I like!
