My favorite way to workout is taking a bike ride. I jump on my bicycle and ride on the nice quiet roads of my neighborhood. It doesn't feel like a workout, it feels like I am taking a ride on a beautiful day just enjoying the outdoors. I'm not a big workout fan, so riding a bike is a great alternative to doing aerobics or some other workout. Riding my bike makes me feel free and happy, and gets my adrenaline pumping. That makes me feel energetic and alive. A bike ride for a workout burns a lot of calories and works my legs and rear end, which is very important to me. Riding my bike outside is much better than riding a stationery bike in my house. Being out in the fresh air and riding on my road is a great way to spend time. Sometimes I go do my bike ride workout alone, with my mp3 player to listen to, and sometimes I go bike riding with my husband or one of the kids.
