Toning Up or Weight Loss? |

There is a big difference between weight loss and toning up. I haven’t owned a scale for a long time so I don’t know how much weight I have picked up since the last trip to the docs but I would guess it would be at least five pounds. At the moment I have been focusing on toning up the abs. This has been the biggest area of change for me in the past 6 months. I never had a six pack but I did have a flat stomach. Now not so much. Between cardio and stomach workout routines, I seem to be making progress but I’m not sure if it is more of a case of weight loss or just strengthening those muscle underneath the stomach fat.
To help me make up my mind I have been going to fitness equipment stores online for a scale. I figure being able to see where I am at will give a great indication to progress and what needs to be done. We all workout for results and I am finding out firsthand how hard those results can be to come by. Until recently, my metabolism was super fast now I understand what it means to watch what goes down the old hatch. I tip my hat to all those people who have gone far with weight loss, it is not easy.
