There are people among us that are critical of the effectiveness of yoga and pilates. These same folks think these exercises do little physically and mentally. And I am quite certain the same group has not entered a gym or pulled out a yoga mat ever in their lives! Well, I am here to let you know they couldn't be farther from the truth.

I openly invite any of the population that questions the validity of a yoga or pilates workout to come aboard and give it a try. I will start you out slowly and with only simple moves. After one class, maybe even half a class, you will understand. This kind of workout, though mellow, truly uses muscular strength and mental discipline.
 
I would ask the non-believer to attend 30 days of a yoga and pilates workout. I have noticed, in my own body, great changes in a short period of time. My mental ability to handle daily challenges has improved. Those changes have motivated me to continue with a weekly workout routine. 

I say, bring it on...just let me workout first!
