Kale a Great Weight Loss Food |

I need to start taking weight loss a little more seriously. I was pretty inactive all winter and ate more than I should have, so I'm looking at what I can substitute for the high calorie food I ate all winter. I read online that kale is a great diet food, so that would be a great substitute for some of the mashed potatoes I've been enjoying all winter long. I read the kale is loaded with vitamins and minerals, and is good cooked as it is raw in salads. We all love interesting salads, so when I head to the grocery store today, I'll pick some up.
I could also encourage my own weight loss by adding a few workouts to my weekly routine, too. There are some fun workouts on DVDs and some of the video games are physically demanding. Sometimes I rent movies at the grocery store, so when I get the kale, I'll look for several DVDs to try out and if I like them, I'll go online and see if I can order them. Who knows, between the kale and the exercise, my weight loss goals might be closer than I think.
