My Conflicting Ideas About Weight Loss |

I do a regular workout, take vitamins supplements and try my best to take care of my beauty health. Yet I have conflicting attitudes when it comes to the subject of weight loss. I have a healthy BMI and I try to keep it that way simply because I don’t want to develop any diseases that are related to excess weight such as cardiovascular issues or type 2 diabetes. Hence if I was heavier than is deemed healthy for my build and height of course I would go on a weight loss diet. What bothers me about the subject of weight loss is the media pressure to be thin. I would never go on a weight loss diet to fit in with conventional ideas about which body shape is attractive and which is not. I think that all sizes of people should be beautiful and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Weight loss for health reasons is a valid thing. Weight loss to fit in with societal expectations and become the same size as a Hollywood celebrity is, for me, out of the question.
