Time to Get Back to the Workout Routine |

In what turned out to be sort of like a mini 4 day vacation last week, all of my consistency with fitness equipment went out the window when a long time friend who I hadn’t seen for a year came into town. It is really easy to not workout when there’s opportunity to see rock shows, visit the beach, play beer pong and just catch up with a childhood buddy. With all of last week’s action came a nice amount of beer tasting, lots of restaurant meals and a few late night snacks along with going to sleep no earlier then 4 in the morning. Now he is gone and I’m striving to get back on the fitness equipment horse. At this point, it is a necessity.
Vitamins supplements have kept me feeling strong but my belly is saying otherwise. This is something a vitamin is not going to solve. This week I’m focused exclusively on cardio. Sweating out all those toxins and fatty meals is the first step. After I don’t feel like Kevin Smith in an airplane seat then it will be time to get back into the heavy stuff.
