My girlfriend got a wake up call after visiting the Doctor recently. He did the usual blood test with her annual physical. The results showed that her cholesterol was too high plus she is a little over weight. My girlfriend had to make some changes to her diet to create weight loss and to avoid taking prescription medication. 

She and I spent a good afternoon looking at different websites researching cholesterol lowering diets. We pulled out what would work for her from several different game plans. After only two weeks of following the diet changes my girlfriend experienced noticeable weight loss. Her slacks and skirts fit more loosely and she felt very energetic. It was a good change and very encouraging for her.

My girlfriend's weight loss plan also including adding more workouts to her exercise program. The combination has seemed to work wonders. Her last Doctor's visit proved that her cholesterol numbers are reduced. She needs to maintain this change as a lifestyle not just a temporary thing. I think she will do it and be fine.
