I love giving women makeovers.
It's the most rewarding feeling to see a woman's eyes light up when she sees herself in front of the mirror in a different light. I believe that beauty exists inside each and every woman. Every woman deserves to feel good about who they are and how they look. So many beautiful women are self critical of themselves.
Who can blame them?
The media is constantly shoving pictures of excessively Photoshopped women- the original women look nothing like the image projected to the public. We constantly are given the solution through drastic measures, such as plastic surgery. Starlets in their early 20's have gone under the knife as much as an image conscious grandmother. With these impossible expectations, how can a woman discover her own true beauty?
Every woman has a feature she can further enhance. I remember reading a book about Audrey Hepburn and she worked with a designer to bring out her features and tone down whatever she lacked, though I can hardly imagine what Audrey Hepburn could ever lack. This must mean she did a wonderful job with what she had! So, the lesson learned is to work what you've got.
For many women, cheekbones are a feature that can be enhanced. Bronzing blush is one of my favorite pieces of makeup. Many women want to look slimmer. With the strategic use of bronzing blush, we can achieve the look of instant weight loss. Many women want to look like they have experienced weight loss, especially with the summer coming up soon. All-over tans help give the look of weight loss, but what many women forget is the strategic placement of bronzer blush for that contoured weight loss look.
After online window shopping, I landed on a store called Zuppa's Store located at www.healthytudes.com. I discovered Babe Tools Bronzing Blush by Fake Bake.
This shade is perfect for that bronzy "Girl from Ipanema" look. Think: Brazilian supermodels, Giselle Bundchen or Adriana Lima strutting their stuff by the shoreline. Like many other makeup artists, I advise women to use this tool to contour areas of the face or body. Contouring is a great way to create the illusion of instant weight loss without breaking a sweat.
A mistake that many women make is spreading bronzer all over the body. There is no contrast. To fully utilize bronzer and give the illusion of weight loss, a woman strategically applies it to places where natural contrast occurs.
For example, I always use bronzer in the hollow of my cheeks. I suck my cheeks in. I call this "the fish" look. I take an angled contouring makeup brush and gently brush the bronzer into my cheek hollows. I do this lightly and add-on when necessary. My face looks slimmer and I appear to have experienced sudden weight loss.
